Italian-based V-MODA has jumped into the professional headphone market with its first-ever reference studio headphones, the M-200.
Designed with the studio environment in mind, V-MODA claims the M-200 will “deliver crystalline audio that’s clear and neutral so subtle nuances and flaws can be easily heard”, producing the clarity demanded by professional musicians and audio engineers.
The M-200 studio headphones are now available for pre-order on the V-MODA website, authorised retailers and Amazon for US$350 and are expected to ship later this month.
M-200 studio headphones are equipped 50mm drivers with neodymium magnets and CCAW voice coils for enhanced clarity, with a frequency response reaching up to 40kHz for a balanced tonal range.
The M-200’s sound quality recently received Hi-Res Audio certification by the Japan Audio Society (JAS).
Built for comfort, the M-200 has an over-ear design with sweat-resistant PU leather on the exterior, with detachable and magnetic memory foam cushions, improved weight distribution, and is larger and flatter in form compared to V-MODA’s Crossfade series.
Keeping with tradition, V-MODA will offer a number of personalisation options, such as colour printing, laser engraving, as well as customisable aluminium side plates.
