Premium headphone manufacturer, Master & Dynamic, has teamed up with French fashion house Louis Vuitton to launch its first branded earphones, priced from US$995.
Noticed by Hypebeast, the ‘Louis Vuitton Horizon’ headphones are essentially Master & Dynamic’s MW07 (released last year for US$299), revamped with its trademark design.
Regardless of similarities, it’s the first time Louis Vuitton has stepped into the audio market, with commentators questioning when other fashion rivals may follow.
The product will also connect via Bluetooth to Louis Vuitton’s forthcoming Tambour Horizon smartwatch.
The Louis Vuitton earbuds will launch in four colour options – black, red and white monogram, or a yellow and blue striped version, with official release set to occur sometime soon.
The earbuds boast intuitive controls and 3.5 hours of listening time from a single charge. The accompanying Horizon charging case offers 20 hours battery life.
